Our Business
- Instem Associates generally operates in the technology and software markets
- We have specific interest in IT services for the pharmaceutical industry
- Initially our role is to structure and arrange the fund-raising for the transaction. We then work with management to implement strategic objectives directed at increasing the value of the business
- Subsequently we would look to exit where value has been created, but where the next stage of strategic development may be better with a new partner
- Because our involvment in a business is proactive (as opposed to, say, VC’s who are generally reactive) we maintain a relatively small portfolio of investments
