About the position
We currently have a vacancy for a Junior Software Developer to develop VB.Net software applications and support and enhance the existing product suite. You will be responsible for producing design documentation, code (to industry standards) and test cases to enable the delivery of a high quality solution.
You must take full responsibility for the role ensuring time scales are adhered to, tasks are completed and programming standards and guidelines are followed accurately.
Skills / Experience
- Have experience in .Net languages and SQL
- Some experience in developing data input Windows applications and have used development lifecycle processes previously.
- Be familiar with VB6, XML and Oracle
- Knowledge of Crystal Reports would be an advantage.
- Analytical skills will be of a high standard
- Excellent communication skills, pro-active mindset and the ability to work both as part of a team and also with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- You must hold a degree in an IT discipline
