IIC 2003 - A Resounding Success

We are delighted to be able to report that despite numerous organizational challenges, this years IIC was a resounding success. During the initial planning stages of the conference the impending threat of War in Iraq and travel restrictions imposed at most of our client sites led to the organization of not one, but two meetings this year.
The first of the meetings took place in Lisbon, Portugal and was attended by 31 delegates representing 14 of our major customers. During the course of the two-day event delegates took part in a number of platform presentations and breakout sessions, enjoying the opportunity to share ideas and plans with Instem and each other. A highlight of the conference was the Conference Dinner at Colares Wine Cellars which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The second meeting took place two weeks later in Philadelphia with just under 40 delegates attending the meeting. The meeting was extremely interactive with a great deal of positive feedback received from The User Group (TUG) and other delegates.
Our thanks go out to our guest speakers from AstraZeneca, ALTANA, AIMS Portugal, P.N. Lee Statistics, Sierra Biomedical, BMS and Allergan for helping to make our conference such a success.
We have already started planning for IIC 2004 - look out for our first announcement due out shortly!
