Rapidly Growing CRO Switches to Provantis 7 with Over 300 Users at Sites in Canada, Hungary and Denmark
CONSHOHOCKEN, PA - Dec. 2, 2005 - - Instem, a leading global information solutions provider, today announced it is implementing a complete Provantis 7 system-project across three LAB Research International (LAB) sites.
"Provantis 7 by Instem was the only solution we seriously considered, it is clearly the gold standard," commented Leigh Berryman, President, LAB. "Provantis provides the functionality we need to streamline our processes giving a clear return on investment. As a global company, we needed an integrated global solution and Provantis 7 was that solution. We have also been delighted at the way it was quickly and widely embraced by our users due to its ease of use and integrated design."
Provantis is a modern, fully integrated Windows-based solution, which enables data to be shared across every discipline of a toxicology laboratory. It addresses all the needs of the toxicology laboratory from compound receipt through to final report production.
LAB's objective was to acquire a single integrated global system, which covered the areas of planning, protocol creation, data collection, data analysis, statistical evaluation and final report production for all toxicology studies it conducts.
LAB is deploying all ten Provantis modules, including Instem's unique resource-planning tool -TRP (Toxicology Resource Planning).
TRP is the only toxicology-focused resource planning solution in today's market that manages studies, people, equipment, animals and facilities for an organization to realize more study throughput and scientific up-time with less administration.
LAB sees TRP as a key component to their business, assisting them in responding quickly to a sponsor's request by instantaneously assessing across all sites the resources needed to complete a study.
"Provantis is by far the most prevalent solution in the industry and we will gain a stronger competitive position by quickly and comprehensively standardizing on the entire suite of modules at every LAB location," stated Denis Pilon, Chief Operating Officer at LAB in Montreal, Canada.
