As the complexity of toxicology studies continues to grow, the systems supporting them must evolve as well. That’s why we are announcing the End-of-Life (EOL) for the Dispense module within the Provantis suite, and outlining what this means for your team.
Effective Immediately
This announcement is effective as of today. While the Dispense module will remain available for use for a limited time, it is no longer being enhanced or actively developed. Current Dispense clients will continue to receive support until the end of 2027.
What You Can Expect
- Now through December 2027:
- Dispense will receive critical bug fixes only.
- No new enhancements, features, or fixes for low-severity issues will be provided.
- Support continues for customers with a valid Annual Fee agreement.
- Starting January 1, 2028:
- Any and all development work for Dispense will be fully retired.
- It will no longer be supported or maintained.
- No Annual Fee will be charged for the module.
Meet the Dispense replacement: Pharmacy Formulation
Pharmacy Formulation is the powerful, modern replacement for Dispense. Purpose-built for today’s regulatory and operational needs, it provides:

System Requirement: Hosted Provantis
Pharmacy Formulation is available only in the hosted version of Provantis. If your current installation is locally hosted, migrating to the hosted platform is a necessary step before you can transition to Pharmacy Formulation.
